Drumroll please..... FHSSC is SO excited to be offering 4 subsidized Basic Life Support (BLS) courses on the weekend of March 15th-16th 2025 for $10! Yes you read that right.. ONLY $10! and even better... half of the sign up fee will be going to support Dream Team, our FHS Make a Wish Charity.

BLS teaches the important steps to perform a rapid assessment, perform Basic Life Support (BLS) skills, and perform rapid defibrillation including use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course will be approx. 4 hours in length, instructed by SERT and hosted on campus. Exact course details including on-campus location will be emailed to participants 24-48 hours before the course. Successful completion of the course will result in a 1-year BLS certification from Red Cross.

As this course is subsidized by the FHSSC, it is only available to students within the FHS. If you have any questions about the course, your enrolment or accessibility, please email macres@uwo.ca. Please note NO refunds will be provided.

There will be 4 courses offered... PARTICIPANTS MAY ONLY SIGN UP FOR 1 OF THE FOLLOWING TIME SLOTS. Please note, we cannot accommodate switching between time slots so please ensure you are signing up for the correct session you wish to attend. If you sign up for multiple time slots you will not receive a refund.

Course 1: March 15th - 9am-12pm
