What Does the Hssa Do?
The HSSA typically runs multiple speaker series and symposiums with professors and subject matter experts multiple times throughout the year – be sure to sign up for them!
In addition to speaker series, the HSSA also providers: Mental Health Training, First Aid/CPR Training, Resume + Cover Letter, Presentation Skills, Dual Degree Info.
To provide some friendly competition, the HSSA organizes challenges and case competitions, including: the Healthcare Challenge, a case competition with the Ivey Health Sector Club, and the Photography Competition!
The HSSA also has a series / mentorship program – be sure to follow their social media to see how you can learn from Health Studies grads / get support from upper-year Health Studies students!
Every year, the HSSA remembers the life of Andrea Christidis through Andrea’s Walk. Help raise awareness about impaired driving and also remember her life.
