MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AID IS BACK!

Are you looking to take a course that focuses on mental health, wellbeing and first aid without breaking the bank? Mental Health First Aid is back at a subsidized rate for Faculty of Health Science students. Whether you need to be certified for work, school, or personal use this course is applicable for all (and looks AMAZING on a resume).

This course is designed to instruct participants on the support they can provide to a person who may be experiencing a decline in their mental well-being or a mental health
crisis. This course will be held online and will consist of a module to complete prior to class, and a synchronous classroom portion held on November 24th, 2024 from 9 am- 5 pm. Successful completion of this course will result in certification from the Mental Health Commission of Canada.

The student price offered for this course is subsidized by the FHSSC. The course is only available to students in the Faculty
of Health Sciences. Please note, there will be no refunds issued.
